After a case presentation, cardiogenic shock is defined including lessons learned from the SHOCK trial and classifications of shock impact on treatment and outcomes, percutaneous device options, surgical mechanical circulatory support (MCS), and MCS options in AMI and non-AMI patients. This is followed by a description of the Cleveland Clinic SHOCK team approach and questions and answers from the audience.
